The Brief
Rare Beauty and Redgert required a premium, interactive activation positioned near Sephora to support the launch of the new True to Myself matte longwear foundation. The experience needed to excite customers, encourage shade matching, and create a seamless path to purchase – all while aligning with global brand executions. The build also had to integrate a prize-pull mechanic, multiple photo moments, and concealed operational storage within a compact footprint.

Approach
Design Development
WLDB translated Redgert’s creative into a fully resolved technical package within one week. Every detail — from colour matching to structural integrity — was refined to ensure the activation aligned with Redgert’s Design for Rare Beauty.
Fabrication
All structural and mechanical elements were fabricated inhouse. Our team focused on achieving flawless surfaces, crisp signage alignment, and photo-ready finishes that would hold up under heavy customer interaction.
Technical
The activation required a custom rotational prize mechanism and concealed storage within a tight footprint. WLDB engineered, prototyped, and tested the mechanism inhouse to ensure smooth operation and durability. Parallel workflows across design, engineering, procurement, and fabrication enabled us to meet the compressed 3.5-week timeline without compromising quality.
OnSite
To meet the one-night install requirement, WLDB pre-assembled and pre-tested all components off-site. This allowed for a seamless overnight bump-in, with the activation fully operational and customer-ready by 7:30am.
